What we built

A customer app for people who live with a Pure Air Hydration system

Pure Air Hydration makes atmospheric water generators — machines that draw drinking water from the air. HKMSP designed and built the app and cloud platform that let their customers manage those systems, their account and their support in one place.

From the first sign-in to everyday device management, billing and support, the whole customer experience is one product we designed, engineered and now operate — the same in a browser and as a native app on iPhone and Android.

Everything a customer needs, self-service

The app puts each customer in control of their devices, their account and their support — without a phone call.

Manage every device

See each Pure Air Hydration system on the account in one place, with live status and filter and maintenance reminders — and register a new device in a few taps.

Subscription & billing

Review the current plan, update the payment method through a secure billing portal and download invoices and receipts — all self-service, on any device.

Support that stays in context

Raise a support request against a specific device, attach photos, and follow the whole conversation in a threaded history until it is resolved.

Timely notifications

Push and in-app messages keep customers informed about their devices, service and account — without the noise.

Eight languages

The whole experience is fully localised in English, Thai, Chinese, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Hebrew — including right-to-left layout.

Secure sign-in

One-time-code login, optional authenticator-app two-factor and biometric or PIN lock on mobile keep each account protected.

Cloud-native API

A cloud-native API runs on Google Cloud (GCP) infrastructure, auto-scaling with demand so the platform stays responsive without a server to babysit.

Managed, consistent data

The system of record sits on Google Cloud (GCP) infrastructure — a managed, horizontally-scalable, strongly-consistent database that keeps account, device, billing and support data correct at any scale.

Managed authentication

Identity, sign-in and token verification run on Google Cloud's managed authentication, enforced as middleware on every protected request.

Stripe billing

Subscriptions, invoices and the customer billing portal are handled through Stripe, so payment details never touch our own systems.

Transactional messaging

Email and SMS one-time codes, receipts and notifications are delivered over our own messaging providers, with cloud push notifications on mobile.

Observability & operations

Structured logging on Google Cloud, encrypted secrets and day-two operations are all owned in-house — HKMSP runs the platform, not just ships it.
